One of the valuable lessons we learned as an organization is the importance of giving without expecting anything in return. Internally, it provides a morale boost and feel-good atmosphere, while externally it provides a societal value to our community. Not only do we try to give back to local communities here, but also to those abroad. Many times we take our clients to less traveled destinations in foreign countries where they can truly get a better understanding of the culture and connect with locals on a deeper level.
One country where we have had a profound impact in is Peru. Our co-owner Yurek has an extensive history with the beautiful country, beginning with his team's rafting expedition that took place back in 1981. Since the audacious adventure that nearly claimed the life of Yurek, he has been traveling back and forth to Peru ever since, building long lasting relationships with locals. For many years now our organization has been helping out less fortunate local communities in Peru, primarily by charitable contributions.
